Under the Public Expenditure and Institutional Review (PEIR) partnership with AusAID and the World Bank, the DepEd-ARMM is undertaking a 2-day Strategic Budgeting Workshop from January 17-18, 2013.
The workshop is aim as a mental movement from resource gaps to education outcomes and impacts in budgeting. This is also a refresher for budget and planning officers and mostly an eye opener for new managers and key personnel. It is divided into four (4) themes - current budget situation, budget framework, policy dialogue and strategic budget preparation.
The workshop is participated by senior managers and key personnel at the regional and division offices.
Resource persons from WB, AusAID, DepEd Central, DBM, RLA, RPDO and RBMO were invited to provide critical inputs on different budget concepts, frameworks and patterns. Influential education stakeholders in the region were also invited.
