The Regional Office in line with the World Environment Day celebration will join the mangrove planting in Parang, Maguindanao on June 12, 2012.
A contingent of about 30 volunteers from DepEd-ARMM Regional Office will converge at the ARMM complex first for the flag raising ceremony to observe the Independence Day celebration and thereafter will proceed to Parang in a convoy for the Mangrove planting.
This event is led by the DENR-ARMM and received full endorsement from the recent ARMM Cabinet Meeting held in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, yesterday.

The ARMM government spearheaded by DENR-ARMM organized a regionwide simultaneous tree planting activity as part of the 114th Philippine Independence Day celebration and to help rehabilitate remaining mangroves and forests in the region and promote environmental awareness.
