The technical problem experienced by the Regional Payroll Services Unit (RPSU) as accounts were transferred to the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) was due to dormant accounts. In one division alone about 300 accounts were dormants. This was explained by the RPSU head Abdullah Macataman and technical consultant Engr Bajuri Tuansi.
The divisions have been advised of the situation and directed to inform their concerned teachers to update their accounts with LBP. Thereafter, they need to inform RPSU of the updating and their salaries can then be updated.
